CSE Productions is an independent production company. Led by the French-Danish director Charlotte Schiøler, CSE Productions has been defending daring productions promoting otherness for over 10 years.

Schiøler, who is Danish, started her career as a dancer in Paris. She has since established her personal style in making satire and social commentary over the themes of otherness and the female condition through dance, theater, cabaret and film in a burlesque and surrealist way. She has toured internationally with her plays and performances to great critical acclaim in London, Toronto, Vancouver, NYC and Paris. 

 

Her last short film, SLØR aka By Any Means A-Veilable won multiple international awards, was sold to HBO and Canal+ and acquired by 20 movie theatres in Italy.
